Dana Drama Students at the Shakespeare Festival

On April 24th, Ms. Kocar and six of her drama students participated in this annual event in Balboa Park.

The six drama students – Gina C., Lidia M., Lily S., Iris R., Kayla S., and Lauren M. – participated in the 5th annual Student Shakespeare Festival in Balboa Park.

This yearly event is sponsored by the San Diego Shakespeare Society and allows students to interpret and perform Shakespeare for the many patrons of Balboa Park. Our actors performed two scenes from Macbeth, while putting modern and 80s twists on them! They worked hard at understanding and memorizing lines from the original play and did a great job with their performance!
