News and Announcements

End of First Semester

Important information for parents regarding report cards, GPA, and Honor Roll is available. Read more!

The first semester ended on Friday, February 5th. The district will mail report cards home on Thursday, February 25. This report represents the first half of the school year. Please take time to review this report card with your child. This is a perfect opportunity to acknowledge their hard work and commitment to being the best student they can be.

If the progress made is not to your satisfaction, we recommend you discuss the following with your child:
  • Is your child recording their assignments in their planner on a daily basis? (Ask to see the planner.)
  • Does your child have contact information for a study partner written in the front of the planner? They can call the study partner to ask questions regarding homework/assignments.
  • How many hours each week does your child watch T.V. or play video games?
  • Is your child getting eight hours of restful sleep every night?
  • Is your child reading a minimum of 30 minutes each day outside of school?
We recommend you use ParentConnection to track homework assignments and progress online.
